Hey guys, I figured I’d link you all to the interview I recently did for “Capture 2010,” which was a project taking a look at the translators of various visual novel groups. It was fun, but… I kinda ranted a bit. I do that a lot in case you hadn’t noticed by my blog posts lol.

Expect another patch in a month or two, really. I’m doing school or working, which eats up A LOT of time, but almost every moment of my spare time (what little I have lol) is translating.

Ah, I have *just* found this site-and let me tell you, I’m overjoyed to find out someone is actually translating this game! (downloading the prologue as I type) I really do love otome games, and so do a bunch of my friends…but alas, my Japanese isn’t the best. My only other non-speaking-japanese friend so happen to really love the merchandise for Hakuoki the other day so we decided to go watch the anime…and fell in love with it~ I love the Shinsengumi as it is, but Hakuoki has such a samurai-drama flare to it that I also ended up loving~
And every so often, I check and surf around the internet to see if theres any new translating news about otome games (which, of course, tends to come up dry). The ONLY otome game I can find thats been translated into english is YoJinBo-which is wonderful. (Though I DID buy ‘princess debut’ purely to see if it actually was a otome game…but after the first 2 playthoughs, I just wanted to never have to do that dance thing on that game ever again) I also bought StarrySky -inspring- for the psp when it came out, and I can understand a good majority of it. It just feels like Im still missing something a lot.
I think the worse part about all this is that I live in Tokyo, and have to be faced with all these beautiful otome games constantly and listen to all my japanese friends fangirl about them.
SO, PLEASE keep up the good work! I know of at least two more girls that would be overjoyed to play this!
(ps, I know that this is more your personal project, but if you ever need help sometime, I’d love to~ though…Im not very useful for translating or for coding/hacking/etc -v-; )

OMG The interview was awesome! XDD Keep up the good work! 8D You should play “Dragon Age:Origins”. It’s a realistic RPG with dating elements built in. For boys and girls. …the the inbetweens. xD I guess you could say it has VN elements due to the fact you make your own custom character and make decisions that effect the game. It does have sex scenes.

Sorry x.x. I’ve been seriously bogged down with school. Seriously, I’m there from 8-6:30 every day between classes and work ;-;. Then I like… Have homework or studying almost all night, every night. I try to also get an hour of translation done if I can (though most of that work is done on the weekends).
